Annual Bobritsa Film Festival
was launched in 2018 by the community of the village of Bobritsa with the participation of the Bobritsa Charitable Foundation “Development and Improvement”, the Bobritsa Village Council and community representatives. In 2019, the festival has already become international. It was registered in the international Filmfreeway system and 23 works from 15 countries of the world took part in the competition program. And at the festival itself and in the jury there were also directors from other countries.
The film festival covers films of all genres (feature films, short films, documentaries, animations, student films), events in which mainly take place in small towns, villages or other small social communities (clubs, groups, families, etc.), or which are created in such locations.
Bobritsa Film Festival aims to maintain and develop citizens' interest in modern Ukrainian and world cinema, and to create a cultural space at the level of local communities of the European level.
The film festival program includes:
Screening of Ukrainian films released in wide release in 2020-2021.
A series of master classes, creative meetings between viewers and film producers, directors, and actors, etc.
A separate part of the film festival is a children's program (animated and feature films, competitions, animators, and other entertainment).
This year, 26 works from such countries as: Ukraine, Great Britain, Canada, Switzerland, Italy, Slovakia, Spain, Turkey, Greece, Serbia and others have already been submitted for participation in the competition.
